First Annual Turtle Tug

The DZ’s raised $230.00 at their first annual Turtle Tug on October 16. Turtle Tug is a philanthropy event that many Delta Zeta chapters throughout the nation choose to hold. For those of you unfamiliar with the event, it’s basically tug-of-war over a pool of Jell-O.  Delta Zeta spent hours making enough Lime Gelatin to fill a large inflatable kiddie pool. The Swim team won the men’s division, and the volleyball team won the women’s division. We had a great turnout for the first Turtle Tug to be held on campus, and we hope to grow the event in the future years.

Thanks to all who participated!

BOTAB

The Pledge Class of 2013 choreographed a lip-sync dance to a compilation of Brittany Spears songs for the Phi Gamma Delta's  20th annual BOTAB competition It was a great time, and the proceeds went to USO (United Service Organization), which supports American troops overseas.

It's Wine O'Clock Somewhere and Dad's Day at the K

The women of Delta Zeta treated their moms to a day of wine tasting and bingo on April 14. The Belvior Winery offered taste testing of their finest wine and mocktails (fake cocktails) for those who were under 21.

The DZ's enjoyed a Royal's game with their dads on April 28. The weather was perfect for a ball game. Tailgating was a must, and the Royal's won 9-0.

Pledge Class Activities

Delta Zeta's have been AmDZing since 1902.

The Pledge Class of 2013 has been doing amazing things! For their Pledge Class Retreat, the women took pictures, threw a pizza and ice cream party, played laser tag, crafted shirts, and had a slumber party.

For their Pledge Class Philanthropy Event, the women made Build-A-Bears complete with hearing aids for the kids who will attend the Painted Turtle Camp. How cute!
