The DZ’s raised $230.00 at their first annual Turtle Tug on October
16. Turtle Tug is a philanthropy event that many Delta Zeta chapters throughout
the nation choose to hold. For those of you unfamiliar with the event, it’s
basically tug-of-war over a pool of Jell-O. Delta Zeta spent hours making enough Lime Gelatin
to fill a large inflatable kiddie pool. The Swim team won the men’s division, and
the volleyball team won the women’s division. We had a great turnout for the
first Turtle Tug to be held on campus, and we hope to grow the event in the
future years.
