Skate Night was a hit! We raised a nice amount of money for our philanthropy and hosted a fun, successful event! Our girls did well in all of the challenges like the Limbo! We had our smiling faces out for all the school to see. Way to go girls!

get to know a sis: Chrissy Thomen

Chrissy enjoys listening to Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John. She has a special talent for quoting the movie The Sandlot, and when coloring, she will pick the color Cerulean first (it's her favorite). Chrissy likes her Nikes on her feet and her cats: McLovin, Skippy, Mr. Wilson, and Waffles.
Chrissy is a Senior Psychology and Act-In major working to be an occupational therapist. She is part of the Career Mentor program at Jewell. She also was lucky enough to study abroad last Spring in London, England.
We love you Chrissy!

Her favorite food is Chinese. You'll find her wearing Elephantastic Pink by OPI on her nails, watching Netflix, and making bows! She can touch her nose with her tongue... and she is our President. Britt is 21 and a Senior Business Administration, Psychology, and ACT-In major. If she doesn't seem busy enough she also balances being the Jewell Basketball Team manager! But wait, there's more, Britt also juggles an Internship at Westside Housing Organization.

Down Syndrome Guild: Halloween Party

The Guild came to Jewell for a Halloween Party. Many of our sisters attended and dressed as nurses, athletes, and black cats! The children had lots of fun with our sisters! There were all kinds of activities that our ladies were able to help with! Way to go girls, keep up the good deeds!

Panhellenic Recruitment Event: Fashion Show

The members of Panhellenic Council hosted a fashion show for the first year women. The ladies of all the sororities helped by participating in the fashion show. The show was to inform the first year women of what to wear and what NOT to wear!
It was a fun and positive experience to help put a great face out to the first year girls. Our girls looked fabulous along with the other greek ladies!

The Grand Ball was a fun dance party! The girls looked stunning and all the FIJI boys looked handsome all dressed up!
We won the Spirit Stick tonight! Our dance moves should never be questioned!! We chanted along to all the chants and blew the crowd away with our spirit! So proud of everyone tonight!

Jewell Games went extremely well. We won lots including the slip and slide thanks to senior FIJI, Keith Smith! Our participation was fantastic! We're so proud of how the FIJI boys performed tonight!

Homecoming: Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony was quite a site! We have been paired with the FIJIs this year! They will be an excellent partner for Homecoming this year.
Homecoming is Olympic themed so we were to create a country to represent. The country we chose, with help from the FIJIs, was: Hogwarts.
Hannah Herndon, a senior Delta Zeta, was chosen as our Homecoming Candidate! We are so happy and proud of you Hann!!
We are very excited to be partnered with the FIJI boys! It should be a great Homecoming!
